Alluring prospect for Nixon Bloodstock

Very attractive or tempting, enticing, seductive.

That’s the definition of alluring.

And in a breeding sense standardbred broodmare Alluring is all these.

She has had six foals to the races for six winners for the family enterprise of NIXON BLOODSTOCK operated by SHANNON AND MEAGHAN NIXON.

First came THEN WE DANCE (by Art Major) 3 wins and $24,365; then followed OUR FEMME FATALE (Art Major) 18 wins and $210,080; OUT PETITE SOEUR (Grinfromeartoear) 9 wins and $73,930; the only male ATTICUS (Art Major) 3 wins and $26,41; SAFANA (Grinfromeartoear) 4 wins and $12,229; and SHE MAGNETIC (Art Major) 4 wins and $16,510.

Diminutive group 1 winner Our Femme Fatale has undoubtedly been the best, as her record suggests.

She took out a Vicbred Super Series final as a 2yo filly.

Now it’s time for Alluring’s seventh foal to hit the racetrack.

TRINITY DREAMING makes her debut for Ballarat trainer Emma Stewart, who guided Our Femme Fatale through her racing career, in a 3yo pace, 1750m, at Swan Hill on Tuesday, October 10.

Trinity Dreaming has drawn the pole and her extensive ownership group of Nixon Brothers Racing Group, 5 Of The Best Racing Group, High 5 Syndicate, Gardner Racing Group, Grant Family Racing Group, Danali Racing Group, S P Curran, J S Baker, S Peoples, M Kennedy will be hoping it is a case of lucky seven.

She goes to the races off three trials, including a win at Geelong on October 2 in 2:2.4 after running her last 800m in 57.7 and last 400m in 28.5 seconds.

UNFORTUNATELY, Trinity Dreaming is the last of the line for Alluring.

The grand mare died with a foal a few years ago.

With a string of daughters though, her influence in the breeding barn will continue for sometime.
