EARLY START FOR 2YOs
With the change of the racing season to the calendar year and the breeding season remaining the same we're getting to see two-year-olds on the track much earlier in the racing season.
The first of the new crop of juveniles race at Maryborough on Monday, January 4.

A more than handy type which won the Graham Goffin Memorial and a Victoria Cup Consolation in 2004 among 15 victories.
Unfortunately, she has not been able to have the same impact as a broodmare, with her first foal - 2007 Blissful Hall filly Equity Hall being her only offspring to get to the races.
Got Equity is only her fourth foal and is one of two trained by owner-breeder Greg Burns' som Damien in this race.
Royal Equity was one of four winners out of Vestalba Rainbow US mare Royal Ann (9 wins).

Restrepo was a stand-out on looks on the racetrak, but is yet to get a big opportunity as a stallion.
He has had three winners - group 2 Southern Cross 3yo winner Urbadboy (7 wins), Sidstrepo (3) and Hes The Judge 92).
Ballygeana was also bred by the late Ed O'Brien and is the dam of Thermal Reactor (Auckland Reactor NZ) 5 wins.
Land Of The Eagle (Booth Hanover US) 4 wins, Sunimore (Crouch US) 5 wins and Notwellnomore (Iraklis NZ) 4 wins are from the same family.
