Half-sister to Auckland Cup winner Turn It Up debuts at Melton

A half-sister to New Zealand boom pacer TURN IT UP debuts at Melton’s Tabcorp Park on Saturday, March 16.

TREASURE, trained by Emma Stewart at Ballarat, has her first race outing in the $24,000 BRECKON FARMS SAPLING STAKES for fillies, 1720m.

Bred by Bruce Edward (pictured) at Durham Park near Ballarat, Treasure is by ART MAJOR and the fifth foal to race in Australia out of US-bred broodmare O NARUTAC BELLA (Western Ideal-Yankee Venice)

Treasure is a two-time trial winner – Melton on February 18 and Ballarat on March 5.

By Courage Under Fire, Turn It Up confirmed he was something special when the 4yo took out the group 1 Auckland Cup in December at just his ninth race start for the All Star Stable of Mark Purdon and Natalie Rasmussen.
