Tasmania launches 2yo pacing careers in Debutante Stakes

Rock N Roll Heaven, Western Terror and Pet Rock each have two of their progeny engaged in Tasmania’s first 2yo race of the season – the Keith Stanley Debutante Stakes at Launceston on Friday, January 17.

All nine starters are from Tasmanian stables and making their debuts.

Time Moves On had just four race starts for a win at Devonport in 2007. Her half sister Evening Muck Up (What A Muck Up) produced Hillview Jake (Cardmaster Hanover US) 13 wins, $107,000 – six of the victories as a 2yo, including the 2015 Dan Patch final.

Rocknovertime will be the fifth foal of Time Moves On to race, following Cesta La Vie (French Babe) 10 wins and Chica Bella (Cardmaster Hanover) 11 wins, which included five wins as a 2yo including group 3 Evicus final and Sweepstakes final.

Pet Rock US-Dolly Girl (Safely Kept US) gelding

Shaun To The Max is a half brother to Brookfield Lad (Artiscape US) 5 wins and Williamtell (Tell All US) 7 wins. Brookfield Lad won on debut as a 2yo, while Williamtell was a three-time winner as a 2yo, including 2016 Sweepstakes final.
