Progeny of Highview Tommy finds way to Tassie track

Just one day shy of the seventh anniversary of him winning the Ballarat Pacing Cup, HIGHVIEW TOMMY will have his second offspring to the races in Australia at Launceston on Friday, January 18.

The stallion won 2012 Ballarat Pacing Cup.

And that was not his only big win on a Ballarat Pacing Cup night.

He returned a year later to take out The Pure Steel for master trainer-driver Mark Purdon.

The NZ-bred Highview Tommy has left only a handful of foals in Australia.

MATAMUA has raced three times.

Kuzma will be Highview Tommy’s second foal to hit the track in the KEITH STANLEY DEBUTANTE STAKES.

The Todd Rattray gelding is out of Village Jasper mare AVARICIOUS, which was unraced but has already produced ISLAND BLISS for five wins.

The first 2yo event in Tasmania for the season has attracted four starters.
