Star Chaser keeps on producing for Emma Stewart
STAR CHASER will always hold a special place in the hearts of EMMA STEWART and CLAYTON TONKIN.
Star Chaser is the mother of Safari – one of the all-time favourites and a stable legend for the Ballarat couple.
Safari took training career of Stewart to a whole level as a 28-time winner and earner of $535,445.
Safari won the group 1 2008 Ballarat Pacing Cup, which was undoubtedly a career highlight, and an Inter-Dominion heat in the next year.
He was the first of eight winners produced by Star Chaser.
STRATOSPHERIC has become the latest of her progeny to get to the track and be a winner.
Also trained by Stewart, the 4yo mare made it two wins from two starts in a C1 pace, 1750m, at Swan Hill on Tuesday, October 10.
This followed a win on debut at Terang on September 12.
Stratosphere was the second of four consecutive winners for Stewart at Swan Hill, with all driven by Chris Alford.
The stable also scored with YOUNG MODERN in a C6/better pace, 2240m; GOTTA GO ELECTROBET in a C3-C5 pace, 1750m; and MACELLI in a C0-C1 pace, 1750m.
