FOLLOWING BIG BROTHERS

The latest sibling of former smart juvenile and now successful sire Follow The Stars debut at Kilmore on Thursday, June 30.

Two-year-old colt First Responder steps out for leading trainer Emma Stewart.

First Responder is a son of Art Major – making him a son of Follow The Stars.

They are out of US-bred mare Smyrna Duruisseau, which has left six winners – all bred by Lauriston Bloodstock.

Follow The Stars won 19 of 29 starts for $700,000 in stakes.

He won the 2014 group 1 APG 2yo final for colts and geldings and group 1 Breeders Crown in the same season.

Follow The Stars was also placed in another three group 1s in Australia, including the Victoria Derby.

He also took out the group 1 Cardigan Bay Stakes a 2yo in New Zealand and was placed in three group 1s in NZ.

As a stallion, Follow The Stars has produced 93 winners from just shy of 150 starters.
