VINCENT YOUNGSTER IN VICTORIA FIRST 2YO RACE

New sire Vincent will feature in Victoria’s first two-year-old race for the season at Geelong on Tuesday night.

Momentum Swing, trained and driven by Cameron Maggs, will be the third foal from Vincent’s first Australian crop to get to the races.

Vincent had 75 foals in his first year at stud and his other two starters have been in New South Wales.

Vincent has already a winner with NZ-bred Seve scoring on debut in NZ in January.

The Australian-bred and NZ-trained son of Art Major had an outstanding, but all too short racing career with 16 wins in 19 starts.

He had seven Australian wins, including the Victoria and NSW Derbies, and NSW Breeders Challenge 3yo final.

Berringa trainers AJ and BJ Tindale continue their association with high profile breeders and owners Emilio and Mary Rosati by debuting two for them in the race. Amazing Stride and Champagne Stride.
